Filter the Inbox
Filters let you focus on one type of data: say all of the messages with High Importance In Outlook, you can Filter the Inbox by any Field available in a message. The Filters include:
Sent to me
Cc'd to me
Unread
Category:
From:
Flagged
High Importance
Attachments

5. Try This, As Well: Apply a Filter
Go to Mail->Inbox->Filter->From.
Select the name of someone who sent you a message. Click Apply.

In the example on this page. Outlook will show only the messages from Teacher.

Click the red X, Clear Filter. OK, that works.

Where Have You Seen This, Before? Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access both use Filters to limit a Table to specific criteria.
